The blood of Jesus is the most powerful force in the whole universe. "Without the shedding of blood there is NO remission of sin".
No other religion in the world except Christianity can take away the Sin of Adam and give mankind FORGIVENESS and a NEW LIFE. It is the only religion where God comes to man and gives Himself sacrificially. All other religions instruct men to try to reach God by their own merit. There is power in the blood of the lamb and it is available for you and for me. You can be free in every part of your life and in everything that concerns you because of the blood of Jesus.
A while ago I wrote a post titled "The Divine Exchange". I would now like to continue that discussion with the" Seven Places where Jesus Shed His blood " by Larry Huch. I pray that it will bless you as we mediate on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this Easter.
1. Jesus shed His blood in the Garden of Gesthemane to redeem my will
Matthew 26:19 1Peter 1:18-19
2. Jesus was whipped to break the curse of sickness and disease from my life.
Isaiah 53:5 I Peter 2:24
3. Jesus' crown of thorns was placed on Jesus' brow, to break the curse of poverty and release me into God's abundance.
Genesis 3:17, 18 2 Corinthians 8,9
4. Jesus' hands were pierced by the nails, to restore total dominion to the works of my hands.
Genesis 1:26-28 Deut. 28:12-13
5. Jesus' feet were nailed to the cross, to restore total dominion in my walk.
Joshua 1:3 Deut 11:24
6 The spear was thrust through Jesus' side, showing that he died from a broken heart, to heal my broken heart. This also illustrates his giving birth to His bride from His side as did the first Adam with Eve.
Luke 4:18 Psalm 147:3 AMP
7. Jesus bled on the inside when he was bruised to break every iniquity, to expel the inner drive of sin from my life.
Isaiah 53:5 2 Corinthians 5:17
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. When I think of this and all that Jesus did to redeem us from the curse of Adam, I sometime feel that I am living far under the awareness of His provision that He purchased for me at great cost. It cost Him His life, it will certainly will cost me mine.( my rights!!) His life is far better than anything that this world could give me. Jesus has overcome this world and all its weaknesses of sin, sickness, and disease. His life in me is resurrection power available to Him as He so chooses to glorify Himself.
If you are a believer, I believe the Lord wants us to know that "Greater is He in us than he who is in the world" 1 John 4:4 Jesus is more than wonderful. He is the lover of our soul.
thanks am blessed with your sermon
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you. Thank you for your kind words. I am so grateful that you are blessed. The Lord loves you and has many good days ahead for you, because He is a good God. Love to hear from you again.
DeleteWhat a powerful teaching on the 7 places Jesus Shed His Blood. I would like to say also Ps. 103:2,3 tell us
Deletethat He forgive all sin and heals all diseases. Thank You for the Post.
Dottie, yeshua has been teaching me the deeper insights of the jewish roots. I praise Yeshua for truly shedding his blood in 7 different places. May Yeshua bless you for sharing his truth.
ReplyDeleteyour sister in Yeshua the Messiah.
Darlene
Darlene, it is so good to hear from you. I love Jeshua/Jesus. He is truly the God of Israel.
ReplyDeleteHow much the Lord loves His people Israel and wants them to know Him as their Messiah. I truly believe that this is the hour that the Lord is going to manifest the "one new man in Christ" more and more. I am so grateful to be your sister in the Lord and to know that we will spend eternity together, praising our wonderful glorious Lord together. Isn't He good?
Great teaching. Thank you for sharing on the 7 places. I needed it. God bless.
ReplyDeleteAmen, I love the fact that you have addressed this issue. It is an issue that most believers do not know of or even discuss. I must disagree with you on the distinguished places that Yeshua bled. You are correct in your assessment of the blood that he shed in the Garden of Gethsemane. However, the first shedding of blood was the whipping, because it was after he was arrested, thus beginning his official suffering for us. The shedding of blood from his sweat in the garden was from His anguish, not suffering. It occurred before he was officially arrested. The second shedding was from his crown of thorns, the third and fourth came from His hands, the firth and sixth came from His feet, and His final shedding came from the spear to the side once he was officially dead on the cross. By no means am I disregarding your post at all, that is not my intention. I just wanted to point out that Yeshua was pierced 7 times, the number 7 is very significant in the bible, especially the New Covenant (New Testament). I love how you point out the meaning of each curse that was destroyed due to His piercings, He is our Lord and Savior, we all need to praise Him daily for his ultimate sacrifice. Not one of us can ever repay Him back for his sacrifice, and He does not expect us to, He just wants our complete obedience, loyalty, and praise. Praise be to the name that is above all names in heaven, earth, and under the earth, Praise be to Lord Yeshua Hamashiach.......
ReplyDeletenoun: Severe mental or physical pain or suffering
Deleteverb: Be extremely distressed about something
Whether it was suffering, distress or anguish, it was all for us! If it wasn't for the sin of man Jesus wouldn't have had anything to anguish over!!
So according to the teaching of our Ministry the first blood was when His sweat turned to blood.
I truly appreciated your comment. Your are right about His suffering in the Garden. It was His anguish. I never thought of it that way. Thank you for your word. May the Lord bless your days for His glory. Praise His Holy Name of forever and forever.
ReplyDeletewaaooo surely am blessed I didnt know abt it Nw I thk u and thk God who gav me this opportunity ...praise God
ReplyDeleteYou are so right!!! It is a waaoo! The blood of Jesus is powerful. It is so powerful that it will break everything chain of bondage in your the old life. God loves you and nothing you do will ever change His love for you..
DeleteHi Dotie, I was reading the verses which you caught there on number 7; maybe there was a typing error there can you recheck it again and amend, 2Corithians2:21? there is no verse 21 on that chapter, it ends with verse 17.

ReplyDeleteCharles, I am so sorry. I removed your question by mistake. It was a good question. I believe it was something like "if a couple are believers and following God's command, can the women be the head of the house? I would like to try to answer that question.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the husband is fully responsible before God for what goes on under his roof. However, when he is at work or out of town on business, etc., he can delegate his authority to his wife. They are one flesh. When he returns to the home he is in charge. If there is no husband in the home, the wife has no choice but to be the head for the sake of the children. The Lord will honor her heart before Him. I hope this clear.
I thank you for your returned answer, that is the conclusion I had arrived to also. My pastor (bless her heart) was trying to tell me that my wife was the head of the house. Because her husband allows her to be. So I just got a bit miss informed at this. Thanks again.
